Barry Keoghan might be new to the acting world, but he is already making himself known, having starred in Irish TV series Love/Hate.

The 22 year old from Dublin - who first got into acting via a casting call advertised in a local newsagent - has gone on to secure small parts in films such as Trespass Against Us, Between The Canals, '71, Stalker, and also landed a role in Rebecca Daly's 2015 film Mammal, starring opposite Six Feet Under star Rachel Griffiths. But now the talented newcomer's career is really set to take off after being cast in the coveted lead in Bulgarian director Konstantin Bojanov's film I Want To Be Like You. Appearing alongside Kim Bodnia and Thure Lindhardt, the story follows 'a budding artist who takes off during the summer holidays to find his hero, the legendary French painter Arnaud'. With Keoghan securing more film roles, the future looks bright for this rising star.
